Crossing’s Cafe

In 2019, I was asked if I could design a small campaign called “Pay it forward” as quickly as possible. I learned about a cafe-restaurant in Singapore that hires disadvantaged people and supports them in their life journey to integrate them more into society.

The campaign aims to encourage action: By purchasing a sticker, a meal is paid for, which goes to someone else. Those stickers can be redeemed by other people who are in difficult financial situations (e.g., if they don’t have enough to provide food for themselves or their family). They also organize events for charitable purposes, and the sale of food promotes the employment opportunities and personal development of disadvantaged people.

They started small and have since grown with partnerships like Assumption Pathway School and Bettr Barista.
